A project question and a pretty bedroom

In November, when I had very few readers, I posted pictures of some vintage pharmacy labels I picked up at Brimfield.

I still haven't done anything with them. I guess I'm kind of frozen from all the possibilities. So ... does anyone have any thoughts? I'd love to hear them. You can read the original post here.

And, just because it's not a true Friday if my mind is not wandering to thoughts of cozy bedrooms and reading by the fire, here's a picture to help keep the vision alive:

I can only imagine how glorious and comforting it would be to start my day off in this room, or go to bed with a fire glowing! hhmmm - I don't know about the labels except to decoupage them onto glass jars/bottles. Make a grouping with flowers in them - bathoom items .... or matte and frame them... :)

Depending on size, I would archival mount and frame your favorite ones individually, either on a matte black or bottle-inspired brown or green and add a tarnished silver frame. You can then group together on a wall. The ones that you don't like as much I would make an arrangement like you did at the top of the post and frame them together.

Okay, I have no idea if this will work (and I am not a seasoned DIYer) but this popped into my head. If there is a way to turn these into plates (decoupage? or something?), could you display them in a vintage-y bathroom in a plate rack. Check out what's happening with the purse storage over at this is glamorous. Totally charming. Good luck! Marija

Thank you for the ideas! I think I'm going to frame a few, and the decoupage sounds intriguing too. I'll post the results ...

decoupaged plates at blog.urbangrace.com in her daughter's nursery. she lists a source as apparently it's hard to do on your own (at least I know it would be nearly impossible for me!). have fun!
